Created in 2013, Casa d'A Além is the headquarters of the Salvador group A Outro Companhia de Teatro, with 15 years of continuous work in the performing arts. Located at 114 Politeama de Cima Street, Ed. Centro Comercial Polietama, 1st floor, in the neighborhood of Politeama - Centro de Salvador, the House is immersed in a region that had already been of intense cultural effervescence. In the basement of the building where it is located, there are two movie theaters where the Cine Politeama became Cine Bristol in the late 1970s, transformed into Cines Art 1 and 2 in 1983, functioning until the end of the century. XX. In front, there is the Instituto Feminino da Bahia, which was the Cine-Teatro Polytheama Bahiano - opened in 1893. Since its creation, scenic arts shows, musical shows, performances, exhibitions, workshops and workshops, dramatic readings, exchanges, essays and debates has been happening in a continuous movement flow.
